Jason and I went down to the Bexar County Courthouse to apply for our marriage license. We did all our research as to what we needed: $36 Cash, Identification, Birth Certificates (just in case). They open their doors at 8am sharp and we were there a bit early, 7:50 am. So we waited in the hall for 10 minutes before they opened their door. I wasn’t nervous or anything, it just felt like we were applying for a passport or something.
We were the first couple and the only couple there so they saw us right away. The lady asked if we had been married before, what our social security number was and where we born. Well, I stumbled on the last two questions. I guess all of sudden I got nervous and couldn’t remember my social security number or where I was born. It was so embarrassing! After a few seconds, I got it but I felt silly. Then we had to raise our right hand and swear … hmm… I forgot what we had to swear to. I swear that I do want to marry Jason though

Well, it was an eventful morning for Jason and I and one step closer to tying the knot. It’s only 2.5 weeks away! I have been crazy busy with last minute details, hence why I haven’t blogged in a while.
