Man Jumps from 11th Floor
I have a family member that works at the Hyatt Hotel in downtown San Antonio. When she arrived at work, there were ambulances, firemen and police at the hotel. Apparently, a man jumped from the 11th floor and killed himself. The Hyatt is designed to where the balconies are inside the hotel, so you are looking downward toward the center from the different floors of the hotel. So when he jumped, he jumped from the inside of the hotel and fell to the bottom floor of the hotel. There was a convention going on and it was right in the middle of their break. Everyone was able to see the body on the floor. It was a horrible sight and an such an unfortunate situation. He was around 50 years old, was not a guest nor a transient but an investigation is still going on.
