Started Invisalign
I started going to Dr. Orsatti’s office about 2 years ago. I was looking for a dentist that was listed on my new insurance and Dr. Orsatti came highly recommended from a co-worker. When you walk into the office, it smells sweet like vanilla sugar or apple pie. There are complimentary cookies, juice and water (or coffee in the morning) sitting on the counter where the receptionist is. They welcome you by first name and ask how you are doing and that it is good to see you. You never have to wait long to be seen. They really do a great job on making you feel comfortable. The whole office is super clean.
The hygienists are very courteous and they talk to you while you are getting your teeth cleaned. I know it should be expected, but they do wear goggles, gloves and a mouth covers. They are friendly, clean and are focused on you so they don’t leave you by yourself.
Anyhow, besides posting that Dr. Orsatti is a great dentist office, I wanted to talk about my new Invisalign. I have a slight over bite, one top tooth sticks out and my bottom teeth sort of cave in. I used to suck my thumb growing up and really never got them fixed. I was suppose to get braces when I was younger but I didn’t want them at the time. Of course I regret it now. So Invisalign is cool because they are removable and clear! I just got them this week and so far so good. It is a bit weird to talk and it did hurt a bit, naturally. Nothing a couple of tylenols can’t take care of. My treatment is 11 months. You have to wear them 22 hours out of the day so it does take some discipline on leaving them on. You also receive new aligners every 2 weeks. The whole process is computerized so the system knows how much your teeth should have shifted every 2 weeks. My dentist showed me my teeth on the computer and how they shift during the 11 months. He also printed out the structure of my teeth now and how will they look in 11 months. How exciting!
THEN……
So I am super excited about Invisalign and want to tell everyone about it. I went to check out their referral program. I get $50 for every person I refer to Invisalign. What does my referree get? Nothing! Not only that, the national average cost for Invisalign is $5000. So for every $5000 you refer to Invisalign, you only get $50, that is only 1%! Wow, what a disappointment. They could get so much business from referrals but you got to have an attractive incentive. I suppose the dentists are the ones that get the dough for referrals.
Still, I am happy about fixing my teeth and if you do end up going with Invisalign, please use my referral code: 935179.
