Started Invisalign
I started going to Dr. Orsatti’s office about 2 years ago. I was looking for a dentist that was listed on my new insurance and Dr. Orsatti came highly recommended from a co-worker. When you walk into the office, it smells sweet like vanilla sugar or apple pie. There are complimentary cookies, juice and water […]

Lunar Eclipse
We woke up at about 4:30am this morning to check out the lunar eclipse. It was bit cloudy so it was very hard to see anything. I got a snapshot of it, a bit blurry though. You can read more about this lunar eclipse at their dedicated page on the NASA site.

Child abuse has to stop
I am watching the news and it seems like everyday there is a case of child abuse. Tonight, I heard the worst.
A little girl is found dead from severe physical abuse, and tonight, the eight year old’s adoptive parents are in jail, charged with injury to a child.
The child was emaciated and in really poor […]

Margaritas gone bad
We checked out the Margarita Pour Off this past weekend. Margarita Pour Off is an event held in Sunken Gardens where various vendors showcase their margaritas for taste testing. It is sponsored by a local radio station, 99.5 Kiss and this year was the 25th anniversary. This was my first time attending and it will […]

Viewing of the 48 hour films at the Alamo Drafthouse
So I went to check out the final films of the San Antonio 48 hour film project at the Alamo Drafthouse. The Alamo Drafthouse is a cool place to watch movies because it has a bar and you can order food and drinks during the movie. They also show old school movies such as the […]

I think it is so important […]

Cowboys in the Alamodome
The Dallas Cowboys training is being held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas this year…as they have been for the past few years. I had never gone to check it out though. We went to check it out yesterday (Sunday). Not sure what I was expecting but it really wasn’t that exciting. I like […]

San Antonio Missions
Jason and I checked the San Antonio Missions baseball game today. It is Minor League, not Major League but it’s still good, old baseball. We didn’t do too well, losing to Frisco 4-1. We did get a home run in the 8th inning but that was about it. Still, it was a lot of fun. […]

1 down, 6 more to go
I realize this comes a little late but I wanted to mention that Chichen Itza is one of the new 7 wonders of the world. There was the first ever global election of the new 7 wonders of the world and they were announced on 7/7/2007. Pretty cool, huh? So once you visit one, it’s […]
